SME Connect uses a combination of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, Augmented Reality (AR) systems, and a flexible and extensible framework that allows for deployable hardware and software capability packages. Our solution provides remote access to specialized tools and diagnostics in a variety of environments.

Real Time Video Conferencing

All users have the ability to talk to and see one another via live video conferencing in each session through a web app, tablet, or AR COTS devices.

Document Collaboration

Users will have the ability to markup uploaded PDFs by adding text boxes for notes, highlighting sections, adding drawings or shapes, etc.

Share Media

Both the onsite user and remote expert can upload images and videos to share with the members in the session.

Hardware Integration

The onsite user can scan the Embedded Node to connect tools in the session and provide data collected to both the onsite user and remote expert in the call.

Real Time Analysis

The onsite user communicates with the remote expert via live video chat. Users can share and interact with PDFs, images, AR streams, and 3D model views - all in real time.

Augmented Reality

The onsite user is able to share a stream of what they are currently seeing with the ability to interact with their environment digitally in an AR stream. Remote experts are able to view a 3D render of the environment created with the AR camera.

CAD Interactivity

Remote experts are able to upload CAD model files and share them with the onsite user to view and interact with on their device.

Record Sessions

The session recording tool offers remote experts or onsite users the ability to record and replay the live session.
